Become a Hero of Hope and provide monthly support for people living with epilepsy
Our vision is to be a beacon of hope for people living with and impacted by epilepsy in Queensland. As a Hero of Hope donating monthly, you also carry the torch helping us brighten the lives of those people living with epilepsy so they are better understood and live well. By donating monthly you will provide hope and support that will help determine what causes seizures and help uncover new and effective treatments. Together we will make a significant impact in the lives of over 30,000 Queenslanders living with epilepsy.
As a Hero of Hope your monthly donation will provide Epilepsy Queensland with reliable and stable support, ensuring we can forward plan our funding to maintain and grow our vital services and programs. Your ongoing support will be life-changing and help us deliver our services and programs where they are needed most.
How it works
From just $1.00 per day, you can bring hope and support to the 30,000 Queenslanders living with epilepsy.
- $1.00 per day, $30.00 per month will help connect 12 parents & family members to vital peer support groups and networks across Queensland.
- $2.00 per day, $60.00 per month provides free first aid and emergency medication training for 240 newly diagnosed Queenslanders each year.
- $3.00 per day, $90.00 per month helps support 12 Epilepsy hotline callers per year with counselling, tailored resources, and follow-up assistance.
- $5.00 per day, $150 per month contributes toward the preparation of a potentially lifesaving epilepsy management and support plan.
Every month on the day you setup your regular monthly donation, your selected gift amount is automatically debited from your credit card or debit card on the same day each month. A receipt is sent out each month to your nominated email address. To assist you with taxation or reconciliation purposes a consolidated receipt of your monthly gifts will also be mailed out each financial year.
There is no lock in or cancellation fees allowing you to change the gift amount or cancel at any time. Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
