I am hosting a fundraiser to Make March Purple for epilepsy
Hi! My names Tamika. I got diagnosed with epilepsy last year 3 days before my 25th birthday. It’s been a crazy ride and I take each day as it comes.
There are some tough days. When I first got diagnosed I thought I was not going to be able to do alot of things but I’m not letting it hold me back and honestly I’ve really surprised myself! I’ve really learnt so much about myself.
Each week in Australia 280 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy. I am raising funds for Epilepsy Queensland to ensure the epilepsy helpline can continue to answer every call for help. Did you know that up to 90% of Australians with epilepsy do not feel they have access to the support they need to live well with the condition? By supporting my fundraiser you will make a real difference.
