My grand-daughter Gracie Lloyd, born in Cairns, Queensland on 21st August 2025, was diagnosed with Developmental & Epileptic Encephalopathy Epilepsy, which presents as Infantile Spasms, and is awaiting a possible diagnosis of an underlying genetic cause.
I am an active member of the South Wales Long Distance Walking Association and this year I am participating in my twelfth one hundred mile challenge event, called The Honeypot Hundred, based in Kent, UK and taking place on 23rd-24th May 2026.
I would like to use this event as an opportunity to raise awareness and support the ongoing research for people impacted by this complex condition and would greatly appreciate your help in achieving this target.
