Honouring Holley
My beautiful daughter, Holley Jaydee Rose Mabb passed away suddenly in her sleep on the 13th May 2021, just 1 month shy of her 21st Birthday.
Holley was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2016 and in the years that followed, she battled with seizures which began to impact her day to day life when her Drivers Licence was suspended. With a lot of perseverance and some medical assistance, Holley managed to get her seizures under control and her life back on track.
She was 3 years seizure free and things were looking up again! She had gotten her licence back, was in-line to be promoted at work and had really just begun enjoying life again when she tragically lost her battle and her life was cut short. This devastated our family, her friends, her colleagues and our entire community; but it was very moving to see the outpouring of love for my baby girl.
Holley was such a bubbly, beautiful, generous, caring, free spirited and kind hearted young lady who made an impact on so many people during her short time with us.
Our aim is to continue “Honouring Holley” by raising funds and awareness for Epilepsy. We want to turn our heartache into hope for the many Queenslanders who have fought, will fight and are currently fighting Epilepsy!
Until we meet again baby girl.
All my love, Mum 💜
