Annaleese’s story

By Sonia Henselis

I am hosting a fundraiser to Make March Purple for epilepsy

Annaleese has uncontrolled epilepsy and suffers multiple seizures almost daily.  She set a new PB last Thursday at 24 seizures in one day.

She is scheduled for Stereo EEG where they will implant the electrodes inside her skull which will help plan her brain surgery.

Daily life is a challenge and we have organised a seizure/therapy/support dog for Annaleese to help alert her to seizures and alert others around her also.  Additionally, a loyal little companion to give her lots of extra love.

We are raising some funds to help with this cost and any donation is so appreciated.

Every 33 minutes a life is turned upside down by epilepsy.

I am raising funds for Epilepsy Queensland to ensure the epilepsy helpline can continue to answer every call for help. Did you know that up to 90% of Australians with epilepsy do not feel they have access to the support they need to live well with the condition? By supporting my fundraiser you will make a real difference.

Thank you!
