I'm going to Make March Purple!

I'm supporting Make March Purple... for the 270,000 Australians whose lives are mucked up by epilepsy.

Support my fundraiser by donating to or sharing my page. All funds raised will go to Epilepsy Queensland, who provide tailored support and education that bridges the gap between clinical care and everyday life.

Celebrating Tazz

Sunday 15th Mar
Today, we are remembering and celebrating the life of Tazz, a cherished member of the Darling Point Special School community, and epilepsy WARRIOR!

Tazz had a personality that was impossible to miss and even harder to forget. From the moment he came into the room, you knew something funny was about to happen. Whether it was the cheeky kicks he would try to sneak in whenever he could reach us,he had a way of filling the space with laughter.

One of the things that always made us smile was his love for poo emojis. It was such a simple thing, but it captured his sense of humour perfectly! Mischievous, playful, and guaranteed to make everyone around him laugh. Tazz had a way of turning ordinary moments into joyful ones.
He was funny, full of character, and completely himself in the best possible way.

He will always be part of our classroom memories, (still framed on our classroom wall) making us smile whenever we see a cheeky little poo emoji. 💚

Celebrating Gabby 💜

Thursday 12th Mar

Today, I am remembering and celebrating the life of Gabby, a cherished member of the Darling Point Special School Community.

Gabby radiated joy, love, and the most amazing smile — a true Little Princess who adored Barbie, Frozen, Cheetos, and chocolate pudding. 👑

Gabby was a brave epilepsy WARRIOR who showed incredible strength and courage every single day 💜 Her light, laughter, and love touched everyone who knew her.

This March, in her honour, let’s radiate joy, love, and kindness to those around us. Check in on someone, share a smile, lend a helping hand, and spread the kind of warmth Gabby brought into the world.

Together we can keep her beautiful spirit shining. 💜✨

I have added a photo of Gabby in the gallery - click on the photo and you will see her.

Thank you 💜

Sunday 8th Mar

Last Friday we raised $340 at our Darling Point Special School Purple Cupcake Fundraiser, with more donations still to be counted! This will be added to the $2,124 raised through online donations.

Thank you so much to our wonderful school community for supporting Epilepsy Queensland and the students at our school who face the challenges of seizures.

A special thank you to Teacher Gary and his team for baking more than 200 cupcakes—an amazing effort! 🧁

The kindness and support shown by our school community for this cause is truly wonderful.

Keep Making March Purple for Epilepsy 💜

Celebrating Charlotte 💜

Sunday 1st Mar

During March, I will be sharing about the impact of epilepsy on children and their families.

Today, I am remembering and celebrating the life of Charlotte, a cherished member of the Darling Point Special School community. She loved her family, her friends, and her school, bringing joy to everyone she met. Charlotte was a true epilepsy WARRIOR. Alongside her family, she fought bravely against the seizures and inspired us all with her strength in the face of many challenges.

Charlotte loved a good party and never missed a chance to celebrate!

This March, let’s learn from Charlotte— have fun with friends, cherish time with your family, and always choose kindness 💜

I have added a photo of Charlotte in the gallery - click on the photo and you will see her name.

Thank you 💜
